A monthly curation, of the best in skincare/wellness, curated by our founders.

The inspiration behind Furtuna Skin lies in the unspoiled 750-acre farm that founder, Agatha Luczo’s family owns in Sicily. There’s olive groves on the farm, as well as a wide variety of plants and medicinal herbs, that are found in the entire Furtuna collection.

Furtuna's Replenishing Balm, a reparative balm that rejuvenates stressed skin while boosting hydration has swept headlines. For good reason. This soothing, clean formula envelops skin in moisture and helps repair surface damage to illuminate dull, drab, fatigued skin.

Soap on a rope is back in style, and sexier than ever. I first learned about Terra Tory in 2021, and was so eager to get my hands on them! Their soaps are specifically made for those who have itchy, flaky, problematic skin ailments like eczema, or any dermatitis. Their mission is 100% natural, 0% bullsh*t, and I love that. I've spoken about it before on here, but growing up I had terrible skin problems that would only occur on my legs. That area has always been sensitive, so I'm always on the lookout for the best way to maintain glowing skin. Terra Tory passed with flying colors.

We were introduced to Omayma last year, and are obsessed with everything they've produced! Omayma is the magic behind the brand, and her career is a celebrity makeup artist! Dreamy right? Having worked in the beauty industry for over a decade, Omayma harnessed her skills and created the perfect facial oil. The ingredients found in their oil are rich in Antioxidants, Vitamins A, C and E, as well as Omega 3, 6 and 9 Essential Fatty Acids, that are renowned for providing a balanced, healthy, youthful glow. My skin drinks this up.

For those of you who received our See New x Honua box, you'll understand why this is a top 7 for us! Facial mists are one of the most underrated products in my opinion, as they are truly the most versatile. You'll never find me without one. Līhau Refreshing Face Mist delivers potent plant actives such as Aina sandalwood, and Neroli flower hydrosol delivers the feeling of gentle anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic benefits, while hyaluronic acid drops in an abundance of moisture.

Magic in a bottle. I’ve only been using this a few days and old acne scars have noticeably faded overnight. This serum is made with 10 wild-foraged plants, hand-picked from the hills of Furtuna’s certified organic farm in Sicily. One of those plants is Anchusa azurea, the key ingredient used throughout the Furtuna Skin collection. This hyper-potent, clean formula visibly lifts, reduces the appearance of puffiness, and evens tone as it helps protect against damage and dehydration.

This special oil is freshly distilled every few weeks, in small batches, on a beautiful and remote island in New Zealand which sets it apart from any other Mānuka Oil on the market. It's so damn versatile. You can use it is facial masks, oils, and hair treatments. Activist Manuka has a wonderful section that I will link HERE, so you can see all the ways it can be incorporated. My favorite is the honey hair mask, your hair will have the most DREAMY scent ever. It's the #1 thing I get complimented about when going anywhere.

Resurface AHA Liquid Exfoliant gives you the results you want without the side effects of traditional peels. I use this after cleansing my face. I leave on, and follow with serum. For reference, my skin is more on the dry/sensitive side. I gifted Resurface to a friend recently, and she mixes it into her body lotion before going to bed. Play around with it and see what works for you!

What would you recommend for extremely dry skin? I’m in my late 40’s and am not sure what to try.

Furtuna is on my “must-try” list for 2022.

I love your curation.

Glad to see terra tory at see new. I have been wanting to try this brand since i have severe eczema.
